8 Banners of the Qing Imperial Army


Due to the widespread use of firearms, traditional
brigandine armour was regarded as obsolete by
the middle period of the Qing Dynasty.
Ceremonial brigandine armour, such as those
below, riveted but without the steel plates,
were manufactured and used only for military
parades.
